2 years later, is not what is called a pending upload. Now the stable version
is 1.4.8 and still no reply / concrete action on this bug...

I am completely aware of the imminent release of 1.2, and also of 1.1,
however, as I wish to be able to allow the different versions of symfony
to be installable alongside each other, rather than conflicting with
each other, so that older sites can continue to run without the need of
