Package: xserver-xorg-video-vesa Version: 1:2.0.0-1 Severity: important when i attempt to run startx, the screen goes black, and eventually X fails to start. downgrading to xserver-xorg-video-vesa 1:1.3.0-4 works fine. this is running in virtualbox-ose (1.6.2-dfsg-1~bpo40+1) from backports.org.
