hi, your problem might be related to this: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=476008 the user reports that certain keys generate a pair of keypress/-release-events with xkb, try switching to evdev as input-driver or try adding "+Release" to your line .xbindkeysrc. kind regards, booiiing
