I'm getting the same error when running update-grub as [EMAIL PROTECTED]: 0 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:$ sudo update-grub Searching for GRUB installation directory ... found: /boot/grub 139 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:$ I noticed it after pulling in an update for both the kernel (linux-image 2.6.24-6) and grub (0.9
