I'm not sure. Now i use beagle 0.3.8-1 from Debian Squeeze. Mplayer not
installed in the system. No problems with loading cpu

beagled-helper used cpu at 100%. Then beagle updated to
version 0.3.4-1 of the repository sid: beagled-helper used cpu at 100%.
