No, it's the same.

I can't reproduce this. logrotate is exiting, but isn't getting picked up by
the caller. Is your /etc/cron.daily/logrotate different to:
#!/bin/sh
test -x /usr/sbin/logrotate || exit 0
/usr/sbin/logrotate /etc/logrotate.conf
Also, what's in your /etc/logrotate.d/stunnel4 ?
