Simple-CDD has been significantly rewritten in python3, which largely
improves the logging and output to be less verbose by default, which I
believe will sufficiently address this issue.
We've switched the revision control system to git:
https://anonscm.debian.org/
My steps:
1. svn co svn://svn.debian.org/debian-cd/trunk ~/debian-cd
2. mv ~/debian-cd/* /usr/share/debian-cd/
3. apt-get install simple-cdd (install 0.3.12 ver.)
AND CHANGE USED MIRROR to UK

Found that $BASEDIR/ta
I also followed the above steps. debian-cd was downloaded from
subversion and the contents of ~/my-simple-cdd/profiles/default.conf
are:
debian_cd_dir=/home/isaac/my-simple-cdd/debian-cd
including configuration values for:
/home/isaac/my-simple-cdd/profiles/default.conf
debconf: DbDriver "passwords
Package: simple-cdd
Version: 0.3.7
Severity: normal
