Hi,
as mentioned in 411575 and 413675, pgAdmin III > 1.4.x depends
on wxWidgets >= 2.7.x which is not yet available in debian (AFAIK).
>From time to time I publish unofficial packages that you can easily
rebuild on your distro version/arch.
Take a look at :
http://www.pgadmin.org/download/debian.
A bugfix release (1.8.1) is out. The current version in sid is obsolete.
We're ready for testing a new version if necessary.
