The trace log is produced by a simple command:
strace eclipse
Considering my PATH setting, which actually is strace /usr/bin/eclipse.
I don't know why it will call for /usr/lib/eclipse/usr/lib/eclipse/startup.jar.
Anyway, the bug has been fixed now :-) In fact, after the latest

Now it works,It has never worked before for me!
I haven't changed anything,just updated the system as usual,so maybe some of
the latest updates did the trick.It works wherever I start it from and it seems
stable(but I'm still not sure about this).

Before starting eclipse, I deleted ~/.eclipse and ~/workspace first so
that a clean excutiong can be expected.
Eclipse is installed by `sudo aptitude -R install eclipse'.
Therefore, only the following packages are installed:
