During subsequent checks, I found that pidgin always fails to connect GTalk XMPP server with message "Read Error" if the internet line is slow (as if I upload something over ADSL). If I stop uploading, pidgin connects without a hitch. Are there special timing requirements for XMPP to work? -- Ar

package: pidgin version: 2.2.0-1 Sometimes pidgin can not connect to gtalk server, using XMPP protocol with errors either "Read Error" or "SSL Handshake failed". Find below output of strace pidgin --debug >log 2>&1 There are following bugs in pidgin BTS and ubuntu, not sure whether these are rela
