No. dash is not even installed on this system.
As a regular user:
$ realpath /bin/sh
/bin/bash
As root:
# realpath /bin/sh
/b
I tried several possible combinations of conditions with the 0.37-1
monotone-server package and was unable to reproduce this bug.
However:
