now to your bug report:
It’s a nice idea. If sm could also output the data to an output image
file, even more uses can be thought of or scripted.
ATM I’m not going to implement this though, (wrong motivation vs. free
time ratio) but patches are welcome, and it won’t be forgotten.

different source name. Name space is getting tight ...
