Hi.
Now I had a bit time to play again with this problem and via strace I
found this:
open("/usr/lib/zsh/4.3.2/zsh/terminfo.so", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file
or directory)
But I just updated to the newest zsh:
# dpkg -s zsh
[...]
Version: 4.3.4-13
So it seems a bit odd. Further inspect

Does /usr/lib/zsh/4.3.4/zsh/terminfo.so exist
Package: zsh
Version: 4.3.4-9
Severity: important
With current versions of zsh in Debian, it doesn't load it's libraries. I did a
dpkg --purge zsh
and removed all local .zshrc files and did a fresh install of zsh, but on
starting zsh I still get these errors:
# zsh
/etc/zsh/zshrc:12: failed to
