I recently noticed occasional segfaults too, but I haven't had time to
track them down yet.
However, upstream should be releasing 1.3 real soon now. It behaves
much better: layout errors gone, no segfaults on exit.

Sometimes, but not always, lastfm segfaults on exit. I close lastfm, while
still playing music, by choosing
the "Exit" menu item from the systray icon. I am not sure this matters much.
