Hi!
As I wrote in [1], PostgreSQL 7.4 and 8.1 are going away in Lenny.
postgresql-8.2 now builds dummy packages 'postgresql',
'postgresql-client', 'postgresql-contrib', which will always point to
the latest supported version in Debian.
