I've updated my private branch to have the options to compress the
Packages and Sources files with only the gzip and bzip2 programs.
Maybe in the future when Compress::Bzip2 does handle empty files
correctly, Compress::Zlib and Compress::Bzip2 could be considered for
use again.

Attached is a patch that lets debpool handle bzip2 compression in addition to
gzip, and in fact any number of compression algorithms in a dynamical fashion
(could come in handy when somebody wants lzma support).
