Paul, thanks for providing the packages. I downloaded the sources and rebuilt the packages for etch/i386. I ignored the dpatch directory http://www.tbble.net/debian/slviewer/dpatch/ Also I noticed a build dependency of slviewer on libcurl4-openssl-dev, but etch comes only with libcurl3-opens
