But I think it doesn't matter. Yes, I use the normal dialogs.
I forgot to write that I want to open a file on a fat32 partition and in
the fstab-file I wrote "iocharset=iso8859-15" for this mountpoint.

No, you don't. testing doesn't have 2.0.4-7

When I open a file with OpenOffice-Calc some files have an empty
filename and the site of these
files are 0 bytes. The files have german "Umlaute" and I think that can
be a problem. I use
the Debian testing distribution.
