Agreed, having the libnotify plugin enabled seems to be the cause of
the crashes; at least, disabling it stops the crashes.

I think the problem is the notification plugin. Ive disabled it
(enabled guifications instead) and no crashes anymore.
Please, check if that solves the crashes to you too.
