Can you maybe install the foo2zjs version from debian and see if it still
works for you? If you have enough time it would be helpful to first try the
version from testing (or unstable) and if this does not work you could also
try the version from experimental.

I recently installed a new machine with Debian/unstable and still had
the problem: I search and installed the foo2zjs for my Konika Minolta
MC2430DL from http://foo2zjs.rkkda.com/ and followed there procedure:
everything is now working again.
