This bug should not be closed - it definitely still exists. It is in fact
a design limitation in the KDE libraries which causes the bug, and is not
specific to KMail - it applies to all applications which use the standard
KDE toolbar configuration mechanism.

The latest package upgrade deleted all the customizations in the kmail toolbar.
This is the second machine this has happened on for this same upgrade, so it's
got to be a bug and not just me seeing things.
