Bug#387681: effect option fade-out-length with effect fade

tags 387681 + moreinfo unreproducible -- Hi Yurij, I had to give fade-out-length explicitly to get the correct result. Did you specify a stop-time? From the manpage: No fade-out is performed if stop-time is not specified. For example, "sox t.ogg tfade.ogg fade 5 0:0:40" works fine for me.

Package: sox Version: 12.17.7-2 The manpage says: If fade-out-length is not specified, it defaults to the same value as fade-in-length. I had to give fade-out-length explicitly to get the correct result. In my case fade-in-length was 0 or 00:00:00.0. I am using Debian GNU/Linux 3.1, kernel 2.6.
