Intresting hint, maybe this helps to get a track:
The Problem occures only in X environment.
Today when I check it on the console everything works fine.
Any idea?
When i use pinentry from command line everything works fine.
I have no idea how to track the "IPC write error" down.

I have a problem with encrypting mails from kmail.
After looking into this
- gpg-agent is running
- GPG_AGENT_INFO is set and valid
but when I run the following command:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/
