I think an option to make cssh close after the last windows closes would be
very useful. Maybe even as default. Or is there anyone who open another
window after all others have closed?

I agree. This is the default in the 3.x versions of clusterssh, found in
Debian testing and unstable. If you'd like to work with this version, I'll
prepare a package and upload it to http://backports.org/.
