I believe this is the same bug that has been posted to Ubuntu's bug
tracker. A fix has been posted there.

Solarwolf doesn't work at all. There's no point in migrating it to the
new python policy in this state. I'm currently working with the SDL
maintainers and upstream developers to sort this out.
