Hi,
Another workaround is:
export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome
It works for me under XFCE. It's quite strange because the Gtk
integration used to work out-of-the-box. Did something changed in
OpenOffice.org, or is it XFCE's fault ?
Thanks,
Thomas

Hi,
It is actually not broken.
This will help you:
$ export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk
$ oowriter
or
$ oowriter --widgets-set gtk
or you can edit /usr/bin/ooo-wrapper script.
