The docs are actually in place (/usr/share/doc/avifile-player/*).
But 'dpkg -L avifile-player' shows only the root folder for the docs,
and not the files themselves.
Obviously, there is some problem with packaging.

I'm using 0.7.44.20051021-2.2 version.

I believe it's Debian policy to include documentation in /usr/share/doc for all
packages. At this point, avifile-player has none.
Certainly I'd find more documentation helpful
