Before adding any patch, I'd really love to have someone actually
reproduce the bug !
I've got a test done on an ubuntu-amd64 (rebuilt) and the bug couldn't
be reproduced. this patch doesn't seem to be the solution to me, as we
actually do want a CARD32.
