Hi Jan-Hendrik,
Robert's analysis seems to be correct, gnobog does not need the
build-dependency on libguile. I've therefore prepared an NMU based on his
patch. The final diff is attached, and the NMU will be uploaded to the
archive shortly.

I have asked for Guile 1.4 to be removed from unstable, and it appears
that gnobog is one of the few programs that still links against it.
Could you try upgrading to guile-1.6-dev and the related packages and
see if gnobog will build and run correctly? (You'll
