Dear Maintainer,
This bug has been around ever since I've used Synaptic. In the preferences one
can change the font and size for the application. However this requires one to
expand the collumn cell to show all the text. It doesn't stick

Hi,
The width of columns (status, section...) can be changed with
the mouse, but changes are gone after quit and restart.
