I managed to get the package to build in unstable using the free jikes
compiler and free libraries by applying this patch. It is a quick
hack, and the rules file sure need more cleanup, but I thought it best
to submit it here as a start.
First a minor issue quieting the build:
diff -u commons-h

Any progress? I tried to build the version in the debian archive with
jikes and kaffe, and managed to get the build going.
This is the last dependency for tomcat5 which is not in debian/main,
so it would be nice if it could be update

versions available. Please update the package.
