I can't seem to find out what became of bug #301435

I have a keen interest in its resolution. I very much need to preseed,
partition two disks (sda and sdb) and mount them as
/dev/sda1 /
/dev/sdb1
Package: debian-installer

It would be nice to modify partman to be able to handle multiple disks. One
possible method that (I think) would be backward-compatible with the current
debconf preseed scheme would be to extend some of the definitions in
partman-auto-recipe.txt thusl
