Are you still able to reproduce the old bug #301063 against any current
Debian kernels? I've just tried inserting snd_emu10k1 module on
2.6.15-1-686, and it loaded without problems. Please send an update to the
bug within two weeks, otherwise I'll assume that this bug is no longer

After untarring 2.6.10-6 and recompiling (w/o changing my
configuration), snd no longer works. Downgrading to my previous kernel
(compiled from 2.6.10-5) fixes the problem. I see the following error
message on startup:
