The changelog for lat 0.8.1 says:
* Re-enabled SSL support (requires Mono >= 1.1.12.1)
So we "just" need that version of mono to hit sid and we can go on packaging!

I feel an update on the inclusion of LAT in debian is deserved...
In the last weeks I've unfortunately been to busy to actually work on it. On the
other hand today the sarge freeze has been announced, and mono is not part of
it, so LAT couldn't have entered sarge anyway...
