Of course, you do realize you can edit the /etc/aboot.conf file and add
the console=ttyS0 to the end of the each line to re-enable
boot dka0 -fl 0
aboot will read the same thing from the aboot.conf that it will take in
the -flags string.

Actually I noticed that w/o the serial console support base-config still
comes up on the serial port I installed to, so the lack of the parameter
means I only miss seeing the boot messages.
