At the very least the information in the error message is wrong
"PnPBIOS: You may need to reboot with the "nobiospnp" option to operate stably"
Should read:
"PnPBIOS: You may need to reboot with the "pnpbios=off" option to operate
stably"
The 'nobiospnp' keyword is not recognized any more.
It goes away with kernel option "pnpbios=off" - but I don't know at what cost?
(no PNP changes exactly what in the end?)
I wish someone could tell me if this is a kernel or BIOS bug?
