I have a Debian/Sarge installation (completely up to date as of today) on which I can reproduce the hanging problem. I have only one XFS partition on which to boot and run Debian/Sarge. Please note that I don't understand a lot of this, but I made some changes to /sbin/grub-install and it seems t
