Apparently, this problem comes from file named savefile in directory ~/.local/share/gnome-sudoku. I renamed it and now, gnome-sudoku starts. Maybe its format changed between the 2 versions causing this error at start. Please, find attached the file causing the stack smashing error. Regards,
