Did you paste the correct logs? Because they show you were using
ubuntu packages, not debian ones.

Dear Maintainer,
I guess that a package that have any options removed should be not
flagged as "unattended upgrades" or at least not applied, because the
service, automatically upgraded, doesn't restart itself.
