In my case I'm trying to offer VNC support for Gnome desktops using Wayland
from a web user interface that uses NoVNC. I cannot find a web RDP client
so dropping VNC support affects me. Fedora and OpenSUSE keeps the VNC
support for the grdctl command. I understand the point of view of the
maintaine
I also need VNC.
I'm trying to deploy wayland machines, but client-side tools need to be
agnostic to the generation of the target.
I can't support each generation of deployments with a different set of
protocols. It's way too much client-side tooling, and process/manual rewriting.
