it has a lot of contact
points with other pieces of software maintained within the DebianOnMobile-team.

would you mind uploading the last qbootctl version that's already in
Salsa to the Debian main repo?
It's unconvenient for the users of qcom devices to be required to
manually fix qbootctl service everytime they flash a Mobian image...

Very glad to see the change has been merged a few weeks ago. Please also
tag a new Debian release so the fixed version gets into the repos. :)
