i have installed Debian sid now and it won't start after grub:
Fail in evaluating the _REG object of EC device. Broken bios is suspected.
After that console wrote "System is loading... (or similar)" and won't start.
I need to shut down the notebook and restart it
the monitor does not turn off with image>= 2.6.23
in my kernel (compiled with vanilla) 2.6.26.1 the monitor works well, with the
debian linux-image-2.6.26-*86 the monitor does not work.
last kernel working kernel is linux-image-2.6.22-486

i've installed sshd next time that happens the problem i will post the xorg's
log
output of:
