Hi,
kdelibs4c2a is actually in debian squeeze:
http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/kdelibs4c2a
Some programs, like ktranslator, kcpuload, knetload, ksensors, and others (that
still offer better functionality w.r.t. kde4 counterparts) need kdelibs4c2a.
The only conflict is the presence of ktelnet
Dear,
you should change the breaks/replaces of kde4.10.2 in order to break
kdelibs4c2a << 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-6~ so that a version >> -6~ won't conflict with
the current kde.
Please see the solution here:

Thank you,

that was the problem! now kde suspends well. I see that kde-workspace-bin
recommends upower but does not depends on it. This should be changed maybe?
B.t.w. kpowersave still works when hald is running; it seems that this is
not conflicting at all. Anyway I'll take a look to the new plasmoids...
I don't have a heavily tweaked system: the only thing I had to make
kpowersave work is to have hald running. I can launch it by an init script
or by a simple 'sudo hald'. The hald daemon is just that from the installed
hal_0.5.14-8 package. This is not a tweak.
The problem is that kde is perfec
Btw, I'm on linux because I can control the system at each level, if I
wanted a dumb (and locked) ready-to-use system I'd go on a mac.
I use to perform some heavy calculation sometimes that raise the system
temperature. Then I have to limit the frequency in order to avoid
overheating. In additi
Hello,
I just solved by upgrading python-kde4 (4:4.6.80-3+b1) to 4:4.6.80-3+b2
please close this bug.
thank you,

I solved by
1) re-enabling the experimental repos by editing the sources.list
2) apt-get update
the problem was that I had selected "Prefer distribution from:
experimental" but then I had disabled the experimental repos.

Hi,
this is not the case since I tried using different addresses and ports by
typing for example:
freepopsd -b 127.0.0.1 -p 2001
but the error is the same.

I also tried to download and install the stable version, but the result is
the same.
