So I found out some interesting information. The tags supported for the --tag=TAG are as follows: --tag=CXX --tag=F77 --tag=GCJ I found these by running ./configure on the libtool source. I will admit that this didn't solve my problem as I still have the failure reported before. /bin/sh ../..
