I can confirm this kind of behaviour. I get exactly the same error when I
try to run the player.
Installing xulrunner solves this, or eclipse should check for the default
browser.

I am not sure where they come from. Does debian apply extra patches? Or
are they in the CVS tree, but not the 1.5.11 tarball
