I had the exactly same bug and today I saw that I have some fglrx packages
with dpkg -l *fglrx*
So I purged all of them with aptitude purge ... and after reboot it works
again with aceleration.

1- Kaffeine 0.8.6-1 crashes when using DVB. If a video file is opened
previosly, DVB works just for a time and after some channel changes
crash.
