I tried to boot the ISO image (wheezy) from USB, but it failed.
I'm using old hardware, 5 yrs at least. A word about this would
be helpful in the reference -- perhaps even a work-around.

I was unable to use direct e-mail at the time of my Debian installation,
so I couldn't report bugs in a straightforward way.
I did a workaround by composing the message on one machine, then mailing
it from another.
Add citation of 5.4.7 for those using an

I found that, because of difficulty booting from DVD, I had to put the
ISO image in a place not expected by debian-installer.
A symlink solved this, but I had to discover that /media was the directory
to point to.
