It takes about 20 minutes for my new Lenny box to come alive. The script in
question is .. /etc/network/if-up.d/mountnfs
I do not use nfs.
I have eth1:0..256 (256 aliases)
How to replicate, fresh lenny box, setup 250 aliases on eth1, reboot, watch
and wait... :)

This has the additional benefit of speeding up the access time to local
variables that subsequently appear in loops.

This has nothing to do. What is the exact symptom? Isn't the stick
automatically mounted already?
That's correct! Problem is nautlius won't let me access it "Error: device
/dev/sda1 is already mounted to /media/usbdisk", witch again is true. But I
would like to browse, drag&drop my stick as with
