I see that this was uploaded to salsa. Is anyone going to take care of
it? Debian's KVantum is now unusable on LXQt, which is one of the main
things KVantum was designed for. It would be really, really nice to
see this land in Trixie before the freeze
do
not have the know-how to fix it myself.

I have gotten the ball rolling upstream to fix this situation.
Hopefully I can get this done in time for this to be released in
Trixie before the freeze. TIme is of the essence, but it is still
doable. Please give me a chance to try to save this package upstream,
so that it isn't removed from Debia
I'm copying the maintainer in this email so they can see this. Would
be great if this could be fixed in time for trixie!
I am CCing one of the maintainers, so that they can see this, as it
affects both Debian and likely ubuntu MATE as well.

Hello everyone,
its been a while since this was last discussed, and it seemed tagging
a new release was pre-requisite to being added back to debian. Thus, I
have forked the fork, and tagged a release, shown below:

I can't seem to figure why, it compiles fine on my machine. the error
you're showing is due to libsdbus-c++-dev being missing from your
system. If this is not in the build-deps, a simple fix would be to add
this package to them.

Dear Maintainer,
The Plymouth Package has a hard-dependency on systemd for installation. This
