I discovered that after unzipping the provided link to the stix zip file into ~/.fonts, running fc-cache -f ~/.fonts then restarting iceweasal, that mathml webpage showed correctly In addition to my original message, perhaps a new package for stix should be requested? Thank you for looking in

i managed to get the box example functioning (as described from file:///usr/share/doc/opencascade-doc/doc/index.htm) i did apt-get install libopencascade-dev then followed the guide.. i suppose the "pload all" must of been looking for files from that other package.. the commands after start
